Aron Piranio, O.D.

Aron Piranio, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from Midwestern University’s Arizona College of Optometry in Glendale, Arizona, in 2015.  He earned his Bachelor of Science in Cellular Molecular Biology at Western Washington University.  He completed his internships in Bethel, Alaska, and the Eye Foundation of Utah.  He is a member of the American Optometric Association and is a Clinical Adjunct Professor of Optometry at the Arizona College of Optometry.

Dr. Piranio is proud to be a second-generation optometrist.  He had the unique opportunity to learn from and work alongside his mother, Dr. Connie Piranio, before she retired in 2018.  He enjoys using his skills and knowledge to help diagnose and treat interesting cases in optometry.

Dr. Piranio’s focus is on providing quality patient care, and he believes in building lasting relationships with his patients.  His special fields of interest include primary and pediatric patient care, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and contact lenses.

Dr. Piranio lives in the Lacey area with his wife and their daughter.  Originating from the Olympia, Washington, area, he is a devoted Seattle Seahawks 12th Man fan.  In his time away from treating patients, he enjoys many activities such as gardening, traveling, doing sports activities with his daughter, and all things Star Wars.
